Warm-ups play an important part in enhancing the performance of an athelete and avoiding injury. As you develop in the Lishi Tai Chi Salford class, your body will change and become more athletic. Warm ups for a Salford Tai chi class gradually increase the heart rate and circulation in the body which loosen the joints and increase blood flow to the muscles. This increases the core temperature of the body which also allows more muscle motor units to be recruited if needed. Lengthening of the muscles prepares them for physical activity of a Lishi Salford Tai-chi and kung fu class and prevents injury as does a lowering of connective tissue resistance. The warm-up provides the Salford tai chi student with the opportunity to psychologically prepare themselves mentally and focus on the task ahead of them. Brain-muscle coordination and cooperation is also improved with less likelihood of any uncontrolled muscle activity and strain. In the Treppe effect muscles are also able to contract more forcefully after contracting a number of times - in other words having been warmed up. A typical Lishi tai chi warm up will warm up all the joints from the feet to the cervical neck of the spine. It's one of the most comprehensive warm ups I have ever done and really would be suitable for any type of physical activity. If you're taking part in some physical activity you really must have a warm up, especially as it's getting colder and your body starts to feel stiffer. If not, there is a good chance you'll pull something or strain something that will reduce the benefits and enjoyment of what you're doing. If you go to a Lishi Tai Chi class in Salford, it is worthwhile learning the warm up so that you can do it by yourself whenever the need arises. Lives are getting busier and it's always easy for this to spiral out of control. You can always promise that later you'll take a bit of time to relax and rest, but later never comes, until you have a raging infection and are run down which stops you completely in your tracks. Doing Lishi Tai Chi in Salford can help this. Actually committing to spending time resting your mind and living in the present - the here and now can change your life - and that it not a comment that I make lightly. You may wonder why I say Lishi Tai Chi Salford. Well, I don't have experience of other forms of tai chi in Salford, but I know how good the Lishi Li Style is and have personal experience of how it can amazingly change your life. So listen to what your body needs. Don't wait until you have no choice to stop and take in the now, but do it NOW!!!!!! In adults aged 18–64, physical activity includes leisure time physical activity (for example: walking, dancing, gardening, hiking, swimming), transportation (e.g. walking or cycling), occupational (i.e. work), household chores, active play, games, sports or planned exercise, in the context of daily, family, and community activities. In order to improve cardiorespiratory and muscular fitness, bone health, reduce the risk of NCDs and depression:
Teaching tai chi is more exciting that just being a student and I would encourange students to aspire to this. During the Lishi Tai Chi in Salford classes, and when we do the Salford Taiji together. It gives me a new understanding - things that have been taught to me are obviously sitting on the subconscious level but as I teach, it comes out and the penny drops!!! I've have plenty of epiphanies, thanks to the wonderful environment of the Lishi Tai chi club in Salford, and even more so when I do the kai men yoga, the soft feng shou kung fu in Salford. Become teachers!!! It's worth it!!!
